About the Event

Join me for a 4 day (5 night) adventure in western North Carolina. You'll fly into Asheville where I'll pick you up and guide you through 4 days of adventure, good food and of course photography.

Your fee includes car transportation during the workshop (airfare not included), all meals, and of course photography education. Each evening after we've spent the day in the field, we'll gather around to recount the day, share our favorite images and have lots of time for Q&A.

Tentative Itenerary:

Day 1 - Fly in to Charlotte, and travel to Cherokee. Scout the area around Cherokee and sunset photos on the famed Blue Ridge Parkway.

Day 2 - We wake up for a 6:30am breakfast and then travel to the Oconaluftee Visitors Center for sunrise photo opportunities with the areas largest Elk herd. We will then take time for a hot lunch in Cherokee and then head to the Blue Ridge Parkway on the hunt for fall color. We'll wrap up the day back at the Oconaluftee Visitors Center for evening Elk photography. We will then head to dinner and to share the day's stories.

Day 3 - We wake up for a 6:30am breakfast and then travel to Great Smokey Mountain National Park for fall color at various stops in the park. After stopping for a hot lunch, we'll head into Maggie Valley for scenic fall color photos and then head into Waynesville for an early Dinner. We'll then head to the Blue Ridge Parkway for sunset fall color photography opportunities.

Day 4 - We wake up for a 6:30am breakfast and then travel to Oconaluftee Visitors Center for Sunrise Elk photography opportunities.
